There’s a certain ache in the way Ren Hang saw the world — a raw, unfiltered tenderness that lingers in the frame like the trace of a touch. This video essay is my attempt to step inside that world. To linger in the silence between glances, the tension between body and gaze.​ Blending his photographs with slivers of 'The Handmaiden' and whispered interviews, I wanted to explore where desire meets vulnerability, where beauty feels both immediate and untouchable.
A love letter, maybe — or a reckoning.
